I nursed Katie for three weeks, and, to put it mildly, it just wasn't working. When I gave her formula (let me suggest soy-based Isomil, so there will be no problem with lactose intolerance), she stopped crying, started sleeping longer, and the world was a much better place.

'Just a thought.

Love and hugs
Mom

It feels a little unfair that inconsolable crying would coincide with indescribable love, doesn't it?

Penny was the same way, try turning the vacuum cleaner on. Dad
"Don't blame fate when things go wrong-trouble doesn't come from nowhere. It's human! Motals are born and bred for trouble, as certainly as sparks fly upward." Job 5:7

just for the record, now that I look back, I think that's why I stopped breast feeding and started the bottle. Then when little Paulie was screaming I didn't take it so way personal, it was the bottle's fault. hmmm, took me 30 yrs and a blog to figure that out.
