This weekend we participated in a 5K for heart health up in Pendleton, Indiana. It was a lot of fun, but Vince managed to edge us out at the finish – technically he came in 128th while Penny and I tied for 129th.
His was a good strategy: pooping on the lawn right in front of the bicycle police, thereby forcing me to backtrack and clean up the mess, giving him a solid lead which he never surrendered.
ah yes… the old Poop ‘n’ Pass. I know it well. Finny J. likes to add insult to injury by first scratching up a cloud of grass and dirt before hightailing it out. Literally leaving me in a cloud of dust.
